Il Geco

Il Geco is founded in 2011 by Gabriele and Patricia.

Gabriele Gabriele

Gabriele: “I was born in Sardinia and grew up in Holland. After spending many years in Holland I decided to move back to Sardinia in 2008 as I was missing the beautiful characteristics of the island. I love nature and am an active individual, which is the reason I started Il Geco. Through Il Geco and through what this company has to offer, I can give others the possibility to see and experience the wonderful island of Sardinia in an active way.”

Patricia Patricia

Patricia: “I was born in Switzerland and grew up in Holland. I spent several summers on Sardinia before meeting Gabriele in 2008 and I decided to move here in 2009. I love outdoor sports and love being active in an scenic and natural environment. Our shared passion for the outdoors was the main reason for starting Il Geco.”

 

We decided on the name Il Geco because here on Sardinia the geco can be found everywhere. The geco is part of the lizard family and is a very active little reptile. It's very fast and can climb up the walls.
